Saint-Sulpice
De Royan is perfectly situated to see the surrounding area.
At its centre is this beautiful church, and it's near the best
loved zoo in France. It's the kind of place where your children
will be safe in the evenings, and where the woman in the Patisserie

from La Closerie, you'll be able to visit the Iles d'Oleron,
the frigate l'Hermione and the rope makers in Rochefort, and
play golf in La Palmyre. |

Visit the La Rochelle aquarium, or wander freely around the
old port.
In Saintes, take a boat trip down the river Charente.
And of course, tour the Hennessey

vaulted cellars in Cognac.
